All our favorite regular plant and botany walks are there, along with another Nature in ’19 Hike with Meditation and another edition of Sense of Place: A Writing Workshop in Burnet Woods.
In addition to our scheduled events, a new running group is firing up on Tuesday mornings at 6:15AM. Meeting in front of Trailside Nature Center, the group is focused on running “hill repeats” using the wide variety of hill options in Burnet. The Burnet Woods Hill Repeat/Running Group can be found on Facebook and is open to anyone wanting to join the workout.
Cincinnati Parks is offering a late-Valentine’s Day at Wolff Planetarium in the Trailside Nature Center on February 15th, 7:00-8:00pm. “The Stars in Your Eyes” as listed in the Parks website:
Join us for a special evening of romance under the stars. You’ll hear some of the greatest love stories ever told as we slowly make our way through the seasons. Programs are open to adults and children ages 5 and older accompanied by an adult. Fee: $5.00 per person. The Wolff Planetarium… where the stars come to life. Seating is limited; please call 751-3679 for reservations.
