Events, On Our Trail

Looking ahead 1/21

The Mount Auburn Community Council meets at Taft Elementary, 7pm on Tuesday 1/22.  Attendance at meetings for councils surrounding Burnet Woods supports our intention to include everyone in park happenings and look for opportunities where our amazing woodland can serve the community.
This Wednesday, the first Stakeholder Kickoff Meeting hosted by Cincy Parks takes place, bringing together all of the groups involved in programming and changes coming to Burnet Woods. Preserve Burnet Woods is tremendously excited to be a part of these conversations and help to serve the community voice in the process.
Thursday 1/24, the monthly PBW Board meeting takes place. This meeting is open to current board members and a few invited ad hoc committee members. If you would like bring something to our agenda for February, please email us at ilove.burnet@preserveburnetwoods.org
Friday Funday!  We will be talking fun and surprises at an Events & planning meeting with Cincy Parks staff to walk through some exciting ideas we have for the year ahead! A lot of work goes into planning the events you see in our city parks. We are joining some existing events in new, fun ways as well as diving into the experience of bringing you new events.

Our regular Birdwatching Walk takes place at 10AM, and there is an additional Botany Walk this month at 2:30PM. Both events are free and meet in front of Trailside Nature Center. Of note: We do not have access to the Trailside building for this meetup, so please plan accordingly with warm dress.
